UPSC CSAT GS Paper 2 Previous Year Question Paper with Answer Key

CSAT became a part of the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2011, marking a significant change from the earlier Preliminary examination format, which consisted of a single paper focusing on General Studies knowledge.

In 2015, CSAT transitioned to being a qualifying paper, where candidates needed to secure a minimum of 33% or 66 marks out of the allotted 200 to clear the Civil Services Preliminary Examination.

Historically, the CSAT has posed challenges for many UPSC aspirants, particularly those without a background in mathematics. However, the difficulty has extended to engineers since 2021, as UPSC emphasizes basic yet logical questions over formula-based ones.

Recognizing the importance of understanding the nuances of competitive exams, especially CSAT, we have compiled UPSC CSAT previous years' question papers from 2011 onwards, providing students with a valuable resource for preparation.

Our collection includes not only the question papers but also detailed analyses of each, offering insights and strategies to help our students navigate the evolving nature of CSAT and enhance their chances of success in the Civil Services Examination.
